Flowers // Feet // Family

One of the best things about moving to Georgia is that my family is now only about 3.5 hours away from us instead of 3.5 days from Colorado.

Score.

I love being with my family and it makes me so happy that we can now see them anytime we want. On that note, we decided to get out of Statesboro this weekend and headed to grandma and poppy's house for a little R + R. We had a great weekend and as I sit and type this, it makes me sad that it's over...BUT Memorial Day weekend is coming our way and we'll see everyone again this weekend.

Good times.

{Road trip!}

{My beautiful sister Ashley. I heart her.}

Saturday mornings call for Starbucks and a little pampering!
Chickie got her first manicure!

{We don't want no sissy pink - Incredible Hulk green it is!}

{Mommy opted for a color called Cajun Shrimp. Sure...why not.}

{Even daddy got in on the action}
After a shopping trip to Target and lunch, it was family nap time.
Look y'all - I get to sleep with Fidel Castro!

Saturday afternoon flower planting with grandma
{Actually, grandma did most of the planting. Her highness doesn't like to get her hands dirty.}

Saturday evening found us relaxing on the deck and enjoying drinks & dinner ...

And a few Cheerios...
{Someone looooves their Poppy!}

Such a great time! Can't wait for round two this weekend! How was your weekend?

Have a great week, friends!

XO,

    1. I was so surprised and happy when she picked the green. I thought for sure that she would go for something pink, lol. Yay for 1980's neon green!

  2. Oh now that is a bonus to moving! I wish Aria didn't like dirty hands haha. I don't like washing them every 2 seconds when she digs in the dirt and then puts her hands in her mouth. Yuck

    1. You would think it would be a good thing, the fact that she doesn't like her hands dirty, but really it's kind of a pain sometimes. Crafts, playing outside, and meal times can be tricky because she just absolutely despises her hands to be dirty. She gets this from daddy. I was always out making mud pies and getting as dirty as possible! LOL.
